不久前，河南平頂山郟縣農村女孩韓雅平高考699分，引發關注。
填報志愿前，她曾透露，基本敲定報考清華大學，龐眾望是她的榜樣（）。
7月24日，韓雅平高中母校郟縣實驗高中發視頻透露，韓雅平已被清華大學錄取。
A rural student from Central China's Henan province has been admitted to Tsinghua University after scoring 699 on this year's national college entrance examination, overcoming financial hardship through years of determination and hard work.
Han Yaping had previously said she planned to apply to Tsinghua University and regarded Tsinghua student Pang Zhongwang as her role model. Her former high school in Jiaxian county announced her admission on Friday.
韓雅平高考英語分數高達146分，她所在班級的英語平均分超過140分。
據了解，韓雅平于2007年出生在郟縣堂街鎮曹莊村，家中還有一個讀初中的妹妹。韓雅平全家住在三間平房里，家中的墻面上貼著28張獎狀。
韓雅平的母親十幾歲時確診為強直性脊柱炎，僅能做些簡單家務。父親平日在家務農，農閑時便去周邊建筑工地打零工，辛苦打拼供兩個女兒上學。
郟縣殘疾人聯合會已為韓雅平的母親辦理了殘疾證，當地黨委、政府也將其納入農村低保范圍，給予救助保障。
Born in 2007, Han lives with her parents and younger sister. Her mother has ankylosing spondylitis (a type of inflammatory disease that mainly affects the spine), while her father works as a farmer and takes construction jobs during the off-season to support the family. The household also receives government assistance.
“家庭物質上的貧困，是我學習最大的動力。我深刻明白，只有學好知識，才能改變自己和家庭的命運。”韓雅平說。
"Material hardship has been my greatest motivation to study," Han said. "I know that only through education can I change my own future and that of my family."
對于網友將其形容為“女版龐眾望”的說法，韓雅平覺得有壓力：“我和人家不能比，還有差距。但我想靠近他，成為他那樣的人。”
Responding to online comparisons calling her the "female version of Pang Zhongwang", Han said she felt pressure.
"I can't compare myself with him. There's still a gap," she said. "But I hope to become someone like him."
