Renowned for its smooth texture, remarkable durability, and ability to preserve artworks for centuries, xuan paper has long been the preferred medium for Chinese painting and calligraphy. Inspired by layered sheets of xuan paper, the museum\x26#39;s distinctive architecture incorporates local architectural elements and blends beautifully with the surrounding paper-drying yards.
