美國華人執(zhí)業(yè)醫(yī)師協(xié)會（SCAPE）2024年會暨十周年慶典在北加州硅谷圓滿落幕。本次會議高朋滿座，盛況空前，吸引了近600位參與者，其中包括約350名來自全美各地的終身會員醫(yī)生。來自加拿大、澳大利亞和英國的嘉賓們、會員家庭成員、支持者和贊助商也歡聚一堂，共襄盛典。
7月13日早晨，陽光明媚，會議在美麗的斯坦福大學校園拉開帷幕。現(xiàn)任會長程麗蓉醫(yī)生和創(chuàng)會會長錢湘醫(yī)生致開幕詞，熱烈歡迎參會者。三位來自不同領域的風云人物進行了主題演講，分享了他們的深刻的見解和展望。Zoom視頻通信公司的創(chuàng)始人兼首席執(zhí)行官袁征分享了他的創(chuàng)業(yè)經驗并談到了年輕一代的自我發(fā)展。1997年諾貝爾經濟學獎得主Myron S. Scholes博士做了題為“不確定性對創(chuàng)造力和學習的影響”的講座。美國國家科學院院士、美國藝術與科學院院士，著名物理學家沈志勛博士的演講題目為 “魔石的到來”。下午的繼續(xù)醫(yī)學教育（CME）講座內容豐富且有趣，之后的藝術演出更是高潮迭起，精彩紛呈。
7月14日，在醫(yī)學論壇上，各位講者分享了癌癥治療、心臟疾病、神經疾病、疼痛及慢性病管理等方面的最新進展。下一代的活動同樣豐富多彩，包括參觀斯坦福校園以及多個關于職業(yè)選擇、領導力和金融啟蒙的講座和討論。
在十年慶典晚宴上，一段回顧SCAPE十年歷程的影片令人心潮澎湃，感慨萬千。五任會長回顧了協(xié)會一路走來的風風雨雨，并展望了更加美好的未來。新朋舊友共聚一堂，舉杯言歡，場面熱鬧而溫馨。
美好的時光總是飛逝，相聚總是短暫。相信在大家的共同努力下，SCAPE會更加蓬勃發(fā)展，明天會更好。期待大家攜手同行，共筑未來，期待明年在奧蘭多相聚。

作品簡介：
本書是一部紀實性文集，共收錄了39篇美國華人醫(yī)生寫的關于美國新冠疫情和抗疫情況的文章。這些文章生動而詳實地記錄了在美國新冠大流行期間，華人醫(yī)生們奮戰(zhàn)在臨床抗疫第一線和參與社區(qū)防疫等的親身經歷及事跡，也反映了他們當時的真實生活狀況和內心感受，并反思和總結了美國抗疫的經驗教訓。書中的內容也是華人醫(yī)生們在美國長期工作生活的縮影。
Introduction:
This book is a documentary collection of 39 articles written by Chinese-American doctors in the United States about the COVID-19 pandemic and their efforts to fight it. These articles vividly and comprehensively record the firsthand experiences and deeds of Chinese-American doctors on the front lines of clinical care and community prevention during the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States. They also reflect on their real-life situations and inner feelings at that time, as well as reflect on and summarize the lessons learned from the American pandemic response. The book's content is also a microcosm of Chinese-American doctors' long-term work and life in the United States.
