7月25日，也門胡塞武裝發表聲明稱，為回應沙特此前對荷臺達市、荷臺達港及卡馬蘭島實施空襲，胡塞武裝力量當天開展兩次軍事行動。聲明指責沙特持續對也門實施封鎖并侵犯也門主權，稱胡塞武裝將繼續采取行動予以回應，并表示針對沙特的海上封鎖措施仍將持續。
